A response to Pope John Paul II's call for:

new in its methods and new in its expression."
Alive! is a 16-page, free, monthly Catholic newspaper
distributed throughout Ireland.
It presents news, features and comment from a Catholic perspective.
It is funded almost entirely by the generosity of our readers.

Other income is from a small amount of advertising
and sales of our books.
The circulation at present is 392,000 copies per month.
These are left in churches or delivered door to door in parishes.
